Change: It Starts with Me

            Every hours, minutes, and seconds that passes, there's a lot of changes in our country, surroundings, and in ourselves. Time is ticking, we should be careful in how we starts our day or how we spend it.
           People change and me also, all of us. But sometimes, the other people are changing because of their bad surroundings. But do you think there is a good outcome in what bad people are doing? Having a global warming, and pollution in our country is very dangerous. It may cause sickness, and other diseases. We should avoid doing things that cause this things. I believe in the saying "KABATAAN ANG PAG-ASA NG BAYAN". As one of this kabataan, I am encouraging the youth to be active in doing activities to help our country to be progress.

"My Drean My Future"

            Everybody have a dream and goals in life. They want it to be granted. But before dreams come true, there's a lot of challenges that we should face. Challenges that make us more stronger. We should study hard in able for us to achieve our goals, our dreams for our future.
            My dreams is to become a Teacher someday because I want to help my parents as well as the children who needs to learn on how to write and read. We all know that being a Teacher is very hard but for me, I will do my best just to help others and I want also to share my knowledge. Teachers are the one who help people to achieve their dreams.
           Achieving dreams is not that hard to do if we have determination, self-discipline and we should always pray to God. God would give me a better future. He help us to achieve our dreams.

Kannawidan Festival

           As the Vigan Festival ended, it is also the start of the Kannawidan Festival. This festival was launched in the 2008. It was started at the 31th of January and ended on February 6. It was held in the front of the Provincial Capitol Hall. For me, this event is more exciting because Bigenious shows our old traditions. This traditions should not ignored and we should give importance to it even if we are now in a modern generation. In this event, the different towns of Ylocos Sur presents their own products. There are also different activities in this event during the night. Some are the battle of the band, choir competition, atec. Celebrities also came to entertain people by their talents. Lots of people went at the Plaza Lagoon to watch different shows. they don't even mind thhe cold weather. they just enjoy watching. This two events gave us so much happiness. Not only the people who lives here in Ilocos Sur but also the tourists who visited our City.

Vigan Festival

           When the first month of the year comes, all Bigenious are excited to the Vigan City Festival because this is one of the most awaited event. January 22 was marked as a very special day for Vigan because it is the start of the Yearly Festival as they celebrate the 10th Foundation Year of Cityhood. During this event, the government officials are very busy to make this event wonderful. there are so many activities in the said event. Like longganisa street dancing, there is also parade of all the participants of the different activities such as, SK and Barangay officials, the candidates for Ms. DWRS 2011, the participants of the Gay Pride, etc. Every night of the festival, there are different contests, like the Ms. Ambassadress, Gay Pride, and the last was the Search for Ms. DWRS 2011. All this activities was held at the Plaza Burgos.

New Me this 2011

          Everyone believe that if New Year comes, there will be changes in their own lives.new people and new lifestyle.maybe they change their bad habits to something much better than before.
Me?I'm a kind of kind of  of girl whose simple, sweet, caring, etc.other people say that i have all the good attitudes.like perfect?well, i don't believe that.no one is perfect in this world except our GOD..i do have imperfection.I'm moody,cruel sometimes and i'm lazy in our house.i'm naughty too. but i want to change those attitudes..not the reason that i want to be a perfect girl but its just that i dont want other people to criticize me.so, this 2011 there will be  changes in in my attitudes.i'm still sweet, caring, simple and  etc. but i will be industrious , i will avoid  criticizing other people and i will study harder..thats all that i want to change..only attitudes..no physical changes.

What is the true essence of Christmas to you as a student

           In this day of Christmas, we used to make this day very special because this is the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the whole world celebrating this every month of December.
           Christmas is about love. Caring people around  you specially your own family. It is the time we spend our whole time with our family in decorating the Christmas tree, decorating our houses and buying gifts. But Christmas is more on decorating and preparing food. The most important about Christmas is giving and sharing. Giving gifts without expecting anything in return, sharing food to other people, and forgiving people who made mistakes or they have done bad things to you. It is the true essence of Christmas loving, giving, sharing and forgiving. Christmas is also to feel joy and happiness of being loved and to be loved.
           Jesus is the reason for this season and He is the epitome of true love.

"Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan"

           A solid unity leads to better future or a god fellowship towards harmonious and prosperous society. The unity is the key to a better future for every citizen. Unity of the ruling government and the unity of this people will visit to lift the quality of our lives. Although, it is a hard rule, as a student, I begin to encourage each other to accomplish this for the development of our country. Every individual should respect human rights and dignity to their fellowman. Being nice to others is a way to a good relationship.
